Rooks Word Game
Checkers Word Game

Designed and developed an original web-based word game platform, combining quiz mechanics and word-puzzle gameplay to encourage vocabulary recall and knowledge exploration.

Created a hybrid “quiz-puzzle” format in which players progressively discover words from a themed list, moving from well-known answers to more challenging vocabulary.

Invented two unique gameplay modes (“Rooks” and “Checkers”) that reveal different letter patterns as hints, allowing players to approach puzzles with different strategic styles.

Developed a structured knowledge-based puzzle system spanning multiple domains including culture, geography, science, health, sports, and language.

Implemented progressive difficulty levels (“Anyone,” “Devotees,” and “Experts”), allowing the game to serve both casual players and advanced learners.

Created a daily expanding library of themed word puzzles, covering topics such as world languages, scientific concepts, historical figures, and cultural knowledge.

Designed synonym-based vocabulary challenges that progressively introduce increasingly sophisticated vocabulary within a single semantic field.

Incorporated timed gameplay and optional hint systems, allowing players to choose between speed challenges or deeper vocabulary problem-solving strategies.

Demonstrated the educational potential of game-based learning, with the platform serving as a tool for vocabulary development, semantic association, and knowledge recall.

Applicable for language learning, bilingual vocabulary development, and cognitive training, making it useful for both students and lifelong learners interested in maintaining linguistic agility.

Developed as an independent educational technology project, combining linguistic knowledge design, game mechanics, and web development into a creative learning resource.
