GTI Website for Tokyo International University

Built and maintained a mission-critical academic services website supporting the English Plaza and Learning Commons at Tokyo International University, now approaching 2 million total page views at its ten-year anniversary (2026), with the majority of traffic coming from active student use.

Designed and implemented student-facing reservation systems that allow learners to easily book English Lounge sessions and Academic Advising appointments—two of the university’s core educational support services—significantly improving accessibility, utilization, and scheduling efficiency.

Created bespoke data automation pipelines to securely collect, organize, and analyze usage and operational data, and to distribute regular, actionable insights to faculty and staff while consistently protecting student privacy and sensitive information through standard security practices.

Developed the GTF Instructor Database and front-end search interface, enabling students to quickly discover instructors by expertise and specialization—substantially improving advisor matching, instructional effectiveness, and learning outcomes in both Academic Advising and English Lounge programs.

Produced original instructional media and digital learning tools used by both students and instructors to support second-language learning, self-study, and classroom instruction, strengthening the overall effectiveness of English-medium education initiatives.
